Subject: Appeal to students to donate material for slum and tribal children

Respected Madam,

There is a charitable organization, We Care! It is working for slum and tribal children to provide them educational material. It distributes textbooks, notebooks, stationery and clothes because many of them cannot afford it.

Madam, now an academic year is over. If the students of our school could donate their used textbooks, bags, other school items to that organization, it will be beneficial to those students. This small act of our students would mean to a lot to these poor and needy children.

If you appeal to students of our school to donate study material, the members of We Care will collect it from our school.

Thank you, madam.

Yours obediently,
Yashkirti Patil

My dear friend Jaykant,

How are you? Hope your exams are over. Let’s enjoy our summer vacation.

I am writing this letter for a particular purpose. My father told me about a charitable organization, We Care! It is working for slum and tribal children to provide them educational material. It distributes textbooks, notebooks, stationery and clothes because many of them cannot afford it.

Our academic year is over. So these textbooks and other study material is of no use to us now. Instead giving to raddiwala, if we give it to the organization, it will be helpful to poor and needy children. They want to take education but they cannot afford it. See friend, our small act would mean to a lot to them. I am sure, you will donate your old study material. If it is so, convey me. I will inform the concern person of the organization to collect the material from your house.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Give my regards to your parents.

Yours lovingly,
Yashkirti Patil
